Anyone using an electronic viewfinder?

I am looking at having my newspaper buy me a viewfinder for my D3s. At first I figured I'd go with a Zacuto Z-finder, but as I started to think about it more, I don't like having to crouch down to look thru it when the camera is on a tripod. I see the cool EVF setups by Small HD and also Zacuto has an EVF attachment to go on the Z-finder. I didn't want to create a monster camera, but I feel the an EVF with it headphone jack and peaking filter to assist me in focusing is the way to go. Anyone using an EVF? Is it worth the price? What do you use to mount it on the camera so that you can still use an on-camera mic like my Sennheiser MKE 400?

I use one of those magnetic mount ones where you still use the on camera LCD. I think the resolution is still pretty good for focus, and it just hangs around your neck. When you need it, you throw it up and it snaps into place. When your done you just rip it off.

Yeah. I use one of those. The LCDVF from EnjoyYourCamera.com. It's fantastic. Just sucks for low angle shots, but then most DSLRs do.
