Creating suspense with video storytelling

I ran across a good New York Times commentary about ways to create suspense for writers. Of course that can apply to us as video storytellers as well.


Really good thoughts and points in this, worth reading and saving to refer to from time to time

Agreed! Thanks for sharing. I also love this from Ira Glass (in four parts). It's from 2009, so maybe you've already seen it. But he breaks down building suspense so well.

Oh yes Carrie, that Ira Glass video is really good. Have seen it many times and it should be required viewing for anyone doing storytelling visual or written.  I have watched it on a year or so, time for a refresher :-)
