I did that dissolve way to much Douglass when I started doing video for my newspaper, just didn't know better. Glad I got corrected on that although I still try it on the timeline from time to time to see if cross-dissolve might work. Seen lots of multimedia the past month at workshops and contests and many of them had the three above and a few started their piece was a dark slide with only audio for the 1st 15 seconds. I kept looking back to see if the bulb from the projector burnt out or something.
