"While many DSLR users still prefer a good and large traditional optical viewfinder, many are switching to using the LCD monitor for a bigger and more comfortable viewing. Sony has now introduced a 5-in. external LCD monitor that clips onto the accessory shoe of its DSLRs and that offers hi-resolution viewing."  Check it out here.

I like that small Sony monitor you found but I wish that article said how much it was going to be (unless I overlooked it)

Some of these off camera monitors can be $700 or more (like Marshall ir Ikan) but then you're getting a true HD 7-inch monitor.

I thought I could do it cheap and I bought a 7 in Haier monitor for $50 from Amazon last week to plug into my 5D or GoPro's and Panasonic but the quality was horrible!

These monitors work great for interviewing, checking your focus, etc.  If that Sony is the right price and the quality of the image looks really good, I'd love to have one

Eric
