Steady Cams for DSLRs

Does anyone out there use a steady cam or anything to aid in stabilization while shooting hand held video with a DSLR?

I have not used one yet but looking into renting a steady cam for a documentary I'm shooting.

I hear great things about this

and it works well for a HDSLR or traditional video camera. I might buy one soon just to add to my gear
