I think this works pretty well as a trailer. The purpose is to tease me with snippets of the bigger piece and get me interested, and it does that.
If I were going to make changes, I would try to get some more impact in the beginning of the piece. The quote is a good one, but it's delivered sort of slowly, so it doesn't pack that much punch. The opening should really grab me.
The music came in kind of slowly, so the opening feels disconnected from the rest of the piece. Overall though, you've grabbed interesting snippets of the different stories, enough to let me know what the project is about and to make me interested in knowing more.
