Nice job, Bob. Made me smile the whole way through. like most of still shooters, we love dissolves. We shouldn't love them so much. We love Ken Burns, but not every picture needs to move. Yours didn't, but there was one zoom in that dissolved to a zoom out that I got a little dizzy over. Vary the transitions, the motion and non-motion edits, perhaps find a way to minimize the starkness of the verticals with the mass of black on either side (could the chocolate goodie have been a horizontal, could the statue of Jesus have been a quick-cut series of horizontals or squares rather than a longish move in on the vert?)

But it was great photography that took us all over town. A good interview with the tourism woman and the characters around town. Very entertaining.

Thanks Michael!  I'm working on the dissolve/Ken Burns addiction and trying not to shoot so many verticals....that last habit is a hard one to shake for a magazine shooter. Appreciate your thoughtful feedback.
