Hi Jennifer,

As journalists this is fascinating with the whole media censorship issue. Just crazy!! What ended up happening to Chiranuch?

In terms of a critique, it played and felt like a straight up news story for TV. Visually it was shot just ok, didn't get a sense of your style of shooting, moments, details.

As a story I wanted to know what kind of pressure she is feeling at this very moment. Knowing she could get 20 year in prison for Lese Majeste how is preparing for what could happen? What about her family, friends etc.

I know you posted this a long time ago and sorry for the delay.

Please give us an update on what happened to her.  Thanks

Jail for not removing a comment fast enough.  That's crazy talk!

I really like Thailand I hope they sort out their troubles soon.

As a way of improving myself I have been trying to improve my critiquing.  I am by no means an expert but here is my two cents.

It did have a very newsy feel which I enjoyed.

Some simple things that you could lookout for is the white balance between shots.  The close up interview with Chiranuch is very yellow compared to the others.  CJ Hinke is also yellowish green in the last interview.  Could you do a custom white balance with a grey card?

I felt like you were trying to cover too much of the background political environment. At around 2:50 we heard about the elections while watching close ups of a guards rifle shoes ect...

I did like that you got someone from the courts to explain the reason for these laws.

All the best,
