Feedback requested
Image quality is poor sometimes and I wish I'd shot more with the tripod. All feedback is welcome.
Gear used in production
Canon XM2 with shotgun- and lavalier mic to shoot with. No camera light, resulting in poor quality low light images.
FCP 6 and some color correction plugins to edit.
Overall, I think this piece is pretty well done. I agree with your regret for not using a tripod (or monopod or some camera support on site) to steady your shots. The opening two shots are pretty shaky at the very time you are hoping to bring viewers into the story with your most powerful footage. These weren't the most powerful shots to open with. The lighting bothers me less. The prostitutes on the street might want to have remained more anonymous (or so I guessed). Artificial light would have seemed more sensational to me. Subtle use of music worked well.
