Hi Kyle. First impressions: The production values are top notch. Excellent audio, really clean, well-lit video, with just enough slider shots. The two camera interview helps break up the long interview shots.

Story: Opening slider shot of photos pulls me into Cassie's story. Powerful interview, but... man, I wish you had an interview with the parents. When Cassie talks about her overdose and says: "I didn't experience it, they did." Cutting to the parents talking about finding Cassie on the bathroom floor would have been a powerful edit. I'd understand if the parents did not want to be on camera, but a narrative weave of Cassie with her parent's, would have really upped the storytelling in this video. That said, the video, at just over 4:00 minutes long, kept my interest to the end. I like the message of hope. Just two months out of prison, I hope Cassie can stay sober. Heroin is such a nasty drug.
