I really admire anyone with the courage to think of - and try - something new like this. And the fact that you had fun doing it means a lot.
In the end, did it work? Depends on how you measure success.
I'm looking for a story or interesting experience in here, and I don't see one. Best I can tell you had about 29 clips or so. 10 secs is really long for a  clip. Add in Brightcove's few seconds to transition to the next clip, and you have a pretty long viewing experience without a storyline pushing it. I don't think you give the viewer a reason to keep watching.
That being said, you have some GORGEOUS images. I would love to see you edit these clips down to 2 secs each, and promote this as something like "opening day in less than 60 seconds."
I didn't mind the filter at all.
In the end, who cares? You tried something new, you had fun doing it.

I was frustrated by the transitions here. The dead air in the black is just to much of a bump for me. it just takes me out of the moment. Did you try and let the audio fade into the black and let to incoming audio fade up? I think that would have been better.  Excellent experiment otherwise!
