Description of story
I shot the b-roll with a HV-30 that malfunctioned and eventually died due to moisture. Was definitely a challenge taking the technological step backward, but no way I was carrying an EX1r in a kayak.

Nice daily.
I thought you had some really nice sequences, some great frames where you let the action linger or move through the frame and a fun story about a quirky gentleman.
My only questions are regarding the audio which seemed to jump or hard cut, perhaps that was where he was cursing.....
I think you were smart to use the HV30, and they are not bad cameras for what they are. Certainly a better choice on the river than the EX1r.
Solid, fun daily that made me smile, although I have to admit I wondered why he didn't use bungee cords to strap the kayak to his board.
