Description of story

Winter Swimming contest in Skellefteå. Stills shot for paper edition of Expressen and video for their website. This piece was submitted earlier and this is a reedited version. The re-edit is based upon criticism received from the first version and from knowledge learnt recently at a workshop with Mediastorm in NY.

Great images. I could feel the cold watching this video.

For editing, I thought the cuts between stills and video were disorienting at times. Some shots were held a while and some were cut really quickly. I would have liked to see a smoother pace and quick shots of some extreme close ups.
But the images were super strong. Really great images. Maybe just even out the editing pace a bit, if that makes sense.
Those are my thoughts, for the little that they're worth.

Thanks for your opinions. I had the oportunity to cover the same event this year for another paper, Svenska Dagbladet, and I did a short multimedia story this time as well.
